If you're looking for a more relaxing experience with lots of charm a bed & breakfast could be the way to go. Our favorite bed & breakfasts are located in Brooklyn. Most of these require minimum bookings of 2 or 3 nights.
Bed & Breakfast on the Park - A high-end experience in Park Slope, one of the most charming brownstone neighborhoods in Brooklyn, directly on Prospect Park West.
Park Slope Bed & Breakfast - This warm and inviting option is a few doors down, and is priced more affordably.
Park Slope Inn - Another affordable option, also in Park Slope. Good options would be the Center Slope Rooms or the Center Slope Garden Apartment.
Escape Guest House - In the Middle Price range, but requires 3 night minimum stays. Located in lovely Boerum Hill area.
There is not shortage of luxury hotels in Manhattan. We are listing some of the more moderately priced hotels that seem to be high quality and also good bargains.
Comfort Inn, Manhattan - Centrally located near Herald Square, this is a short subway or taxi ride to most of the popular museums and central park. It's proximity to the 34th st. subway hub makes it very accessible.
Hotel Bedford - A charming, european style, boutique hotel, reasonably priced. Located in Murray Hill, just east of the mid-town hustle and bustle.
Sohotel - Trendy, yet affordable. Stay in the heart of the SoHo shopping and dining district to take advantage of Manhattan's most fashionable restaurants and nightlife.
Hotel91 - The Lower East Side is full of energy with Chinatown, Little Italy and SoHo just steps away. These rooms look modern and elegant.
This is just a very small sampling of hotels. I also like kayak.com for finding deals and up to the minute rate info. If you find a hotel you are interested in and are unsure of the area, please don't hesitate to contact us with questions. We want all of our guests to have a wonderful and safe NY experience.
